About me
Dr. Watkins is an experienced counselor, educator, and advocate with over a decade of experience planning, developing, and providing workshops on human trafficking and drug education at Stockton University, local schools, and surrounding communities. Multifaceted professional offering expertise in training, counseling, financial management and personal growth. An energetic counselor with the experience to enhance employee potential; provide skills to assist youth of all ages, underrepresented individuals, and other diverse groups with increased productivity, mental health issues, reduce absenteeism, financial assistance, and other concerns that affect the work environment.
Dr. Watkins is an advocate for accessible STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education and programs for under served youth. She has an established network and created STEM pathways connecting higher education, internships and employment for underrepresented and disadvantaged individuals.
​Dr. Watkins continues to advocate for individuals with special needs and is committed to the advancement, education and protection of women. She supports and assists with providing services to victims and survivors of human trafficking. She educates students and the community on human trafficking prevention and awareness through Sociology courses taught at Stockton University, speaking on panels and hosting workshops.​
Dr. Watkins is an educator who believes in empowering and nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit. She meets with individuals to assists with personal/professional development, academic guidance and provide hope.
